Awards and Board Installation Banquet

This is the high point of our year!

Certificates of appreciation are given to those members who have given outstanding service to the community during the previous year and a Humanist of the Year is awarded a plaque.

Also, our community welcomes the new Board of Directors. Each member of the outgoing Board is honored with a rose and a word of personal recognition and each member of the incumbent Board is introduced and welcomed.

The committee to prepare the awards needs to receive from our members the names of people whom you feel merit special recognition by the community. Names can be sent to the Membership Committee (see below), or given to any member of the awards committee, with the reason you recommend these indivduals for a special thank-you. In addition there is a list on the membership table at the Sunday Forums where votes can be recorded. You can name as many or as few as you like.

At the banquet, updated Humanist Community directories will be handed out.

If you are able to come, please sign up in advance, so that enough of our dinner, with its special dessert, can be ordered. You can let me know or sign up at the Greeter’s Table at the Sunday Forums.
