Prof. Dustin Mulvaney
11 a.m., July 7, 2019
Join us this Sunday as we hear from Dustin Mulvaney, associate professor in Environmental Studies at San Jose State University. We’ll be learning about the potential environmental impacts of new energy technologies and how California might achieve low carbon energy while preserving biodiversity.
Prof. Mulvaney will also discuss some ideas from his new book “Solar Power Innovation, Sustainability, and Environmental Justice” (see https://www.ucpress.edu/book/9780520288171/solar-power). He will have some copies of his book for sale after his talk.
After the Forum, please join us for a lunch at 12:30pm. The lunch is complimentary for first-time visitors and students.
