An invitation to all Humanists in the Bay Area to celebrate the Summer Solstice and World Humanist Day this Friday, June 21st, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm with the Humanist Connections group at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkeley, One Lawson Road, off Arlington at Moeser/Terrace.
We are inviting the Humanist Hall congregation in Oakland with Rev. Florence Winfall, all Humanists at the Unitarian Universalist Society of San Francisco, and the Humanist Roots group at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto. All AHA Stanford members (Atheists, Humanists, and Agnostics) and friends are invited to join us too. Let us know if there are other Humanist groups we should include as well
World Humanist Day is an international Humanist celebration on June 21st, frequently coinciding with the Summer Solstice. It’s an opportunity for Humanists to reflect on and publicize the positive values of Humanism, and to share the global concerns for the Humanist movement.
