Existential or Secular Buddhism is a philosophical approach based on the teachings of Buddha, without the cultural and religious narratives that historically have been added as layers to what the Buddha originally taught.
This talk, based on the books by Stephen Batchelor, aims to share the core teachings that can support the development of our consciousness, well-being,
empathetic relationships and community.

Everyone can be an evolutionary leader, and contribute toward the great transition to a better world. We can contribute at the micro, meso, macro levels. Humanism has a lot to contribute toward a cultural-social evolution. Manuel Manga (an organizational consultant, facilitator, and leadership coach) will present his concept of evolutionary leadership, which is democratic, non- hierarchical, collaborative and visionary. This concept is partly inspired by Julian Huxley’s Evolutionary Humanism, which claims that humanity needs a psycho-social evolution.
Relational Intelligence: Human beings are social animals, we live in systems of relationships, with nature, other people, objects, etc.
In this talk we will focus on 5 key relationships for human beings. We will also focus on the role of language and conversations in creating and maintaining effective relationships. Conversations for creating relationships, conversations for exploring possibilities, and conversations for effective coordination of actions. We will also look into the systemic relationship between emotions and conversations, and the emotion of love as the foundation to human relations.
Manga is the director of the Center for Evolutionary Leadership, which develops leaders for building a just, flourishing, and sustainable world. He is also a leadership coach and organizational consultant.

The concept and experience of spirituality does not have to have a religious connotation. Human beings need an explanation of their cosmic journey, and a story of human evolution that gives meaning to their lives. A science based explanation and story is in need to be told and to be enriched by the diversity of our human diversity and cultures.
In this presentation spirituality will be defined as a naturalistic, scientific, ethical, philosophical, secular process that can enlarge your sense of self, participation and meaning in life.
Given that humanity is facing an evolutionary crisis, we each need to create a sense of purpose and meaning that not only enriches our lives but also contributes toward the transformation of our evolutionary crisis.
